Sri Lanka Muslims dot Net is still under construction and is not fully operational. Maybe I’ll get around some time to write a good about page. For now, you may know that this website was setup by 2 Muslim Sri Lankan youth who want to aren’t please with the situation of Sri Lankan Muslim community and hope to contribute towards the betterment of the community through this humble small cyber effort.

To tell you about the 2 guys behind this effort, they both hale from a small town somewhere in the central hills of Sri Lanka, they grew up and attained their youth, then came to Colombo for jobs and they are setting up this website while doing jobs and various community and Islamic activities they work with. All thanks to the one God, Allah, both these guys are very religious, conscious Muslim youth who pray 5 times a day and try to be the best Muslim they can be.

These two youth believe in working together. They believe in unity in diversity. They welcome discussions and meaningful debates. They respect other religions. They welcome and try to use new technologies and innovations for the Islamic purposes, da’wah to non-Muslims and general community welfare of all Sri Lankans irrespective of religion, nationality, creed or language. They don’t care what your skin colour is nor do they care what you speak. They wish to lead a good life according to Islamic teaching in this world and attain the highest posible rewards in the next world while avoiding the fearsome depths of the hell.
